Bloodline

The second project of my acrylic painting class was to create my own composition that includes a symbol of some sort and the use of molding paste. Unlike the first project where the goal was to imitate an existing photograph, this one was to come completely out of our own creativities. When I'm not drawing from real-life objects I tend to draw ideas from strong emotional elements in my life. Since I'm not one to ever lack in emotions (some may even accuse me of having 'too much' emotions), I had plenty of ideas.

This piece is called Bloodline.  The symbols I used are Russian stacking dolls and umbilical cords. Other than that, no comment. :-)
