I just finished editing the film that Dan, Jean and I worked on for the Basic Film/Production class we're taking together. During filming we accidentally turned off the sound so we ended up with shots without any sound track. To compensate, we decided to mimic films from the Silent Film Era by adding a musical score and using special affects to date the film. It turned out surprisingly well!
It would be fun to add title cards in there as well to give that extra authentic omph to the film. I played a part in the film. Let me just say that after shooting for 4+ hours and multiple takes, I have a whole new respect for the work that professional actors do!
